Professor Donald Hudson MB ChB, FRCS (Ed), FCS (SA), FACS (USA), M Med

Professor Hudson has been head of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, at Groote Schuur Hospital for almost 20 years. He graduated MB Ch B from the University of Cape Town and then specialised in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He has 3 fellowships from different continents Ie FRCS (Edinburgh) FCS (South Africa) and FACS (USA) and a MMed from University of Cape Town.

He has published over 200 peer review articles and serves on the editorial board of the world’s leading plastic surgery journals viz Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (USA) and Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (formerly British Journal of Plastic Surgery )

Caveats of Facial Beauty

The lecture will address beauty and aesthetics in the human body and face. Cases will be presented and utilised to highlight the factors to consider when treatment planning aesthetics. The lecture will be useful to anyone treating patients in the aesthetic zone.
